The A2A Athens to Atlanta Skate:
With more than 30 years of history, the Athens to Atlanta (A2A) is known as the oldest and most famous road skate in America. Skaters of all ages can test their skill and endurance by choosing to skate one of the three distances offered at this great skating event. Skaters can choose to skate the 38, 49, or 87 mile which takes them through beautiful country roads, quiet suburbia, and city streets, before crossing the finish line in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward Skate Park. Completing the challenging course offered at the A2A Athens to Atlanta Skate is challenging and requires experienced road skating ability, courage and stamina. Both the whole 87 miles skate and the 38 mile event start in Athens. The 49 mile event starts near Dacula, GA. Both inline and quad skaters are welcome and anyone from 8 to 80 years old may enter.
